A Vision for University Presbyterian Church

University Presbyterian Church is a community in Christ where the worship of the living God is the vibrant center of our existence.  Through our worship we are drawn to God, invigorated in our relationship with Christ, and sent forth by the power of the Holy Spirit to transform lives. 

Components of this Vision:

• Formation of Worship Teams around the seasons of the Church calendar.

• Expansion of the music program to be more varied

• Purchase of a supplemental hymnal

• Use of international music to reflect our diverse congregation

• Greater use of the arts in worship: drama, dance, visual arts, use of senses, etc.

• Apply for a Presbytery Development Fund Grant for worship renewal purposes

• One Sunday a month, the second service would allow for the expression of alternative worship styles

• Particular attention to the participation of children in worship

• The M & M Room (Mary and Martha) used as a prayer/meditation room
